Information you enter into the app

Depending on which features you use, Rabbit Breeder Keeper may store information such as:

• Rabbit records, ear tags, breed, variety, sex, age, weight, pedigree, genotype, and notes
• Litter records, breeding dates, due dates, nest box dates, born dates, weaned dates, counts, and status
• Breeder profile details such as rabbitry name, contact name, address, phone number, email address, and website
• Uploaded rabbit photos, rabbit record files, pedigree files, and notes associated with uploaded files
• Feedback details you choose to send, including optional attached backup or sync bundles
• For the web app only, account information such as username, password hash, and optional email address

How the Android app handles data

The Android app is designed to work primarily with local device storage. Rabbit, litter, breeder, photo, and record information is stored on your device unless you choose to export, sync, email, or otherwise share it.

• Backups and sync bundles are created only when you start a backup, export, sync, or feedback action
• Photos and record files remain on your device unless you include them in a backup or share them yourself
• Local network sync only runs when you use the sync features and pair with another device

How the web app handles data

The web app stores account and rabbitry data on servers operated for DW Software so that signed-in users can access their own separate web data profile from a browser.

• User accounts store a username, a hashed password, an internal profile key, and an optional email address
• Rabbit, litter, breeder, photo, and uploaded record data for the web app are stored under the signed-in user profile
• When you use the web app, your data may pass through service providers used for hosting, storage, network delivery, and email support on our behalf

How we use the information

We use the information described above to:

• Operate the rabbit, litter, genetics, pedigree, calendar, backup, record, and sync features
• Store your selected rabbitry profile and settings
• Generate backups, sync bundles, exports, and attachments that you choose to create
• Provide account access and profile separation for the web app
• Respond to support or feedback messages that you send to us

When data is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only in limited cases such as:

• When you choose to export, email, or sync app data
• When the web app stores or serves data through infrastructure providers acting on behalf of DW Software
• When disclosure is required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the data we store and transmit. For example, the web app stores passwords as hashes rather than in plain text, and the public site is served over HTTPS. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Retention and deletion

• Android app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the app, or overwrite it with an imported bundle
• Backups or exported zip bundles remain wherever you save or send them until you delete them
• Web account data remains stored while the account is active
• Web users can delete their account from Settings, which removes the web login and the related stored profile data and uploaded media

Children

Rabbit Breeder Keeper is intended for breeders, rabbitry management, and record keeping. It is not designed for children to use independently as a child-directed service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. When we do, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
